Laboratorio di FotoRacconto
Autobiographical Narrative and Digital Photography
The FotoRacconto seeks to stimulate the participants' expressive capacities by employing
the medium of digital photography.
During this encounter, these projects will be based on individual topics of interest, possibly
autobiographical (one's friends, one's own home etc. …), which then enable the participants to start
creating a certain number of photographs which reflect and recount this kind of reality.
The images will have a confrontational visual impact, as studied during the encounters,
to comprise the concept in such a way as to more concisely and precisely address the topic
at hand.
When the work is done, each participant will select a limited number of photos to create
his or her own autobiographical “photo narrative”.
These major works will be displayed at a photographic exhibition. The preparation of the expansion,
the final phase of the expressive analysis, will be curated and implemented by the same
participants, according to creativity- and originality-based criteria.
